New NECHOCHWEN To Be
Released Later This Year - 06/17/09

Nechochwen is the passionate exploration of Native American Indian heritage
through stunning classical guitar instrumentation and lush atmosphere.
With his debut full-length, "Algonkian Mythos" for Dark Horizon Records
(now available through our webshop!), Nechochwen, the sole creator of
this art and man from which the "band" receives it's namesake, set out
to create a very powerful trip back in time to the French and Indian
War. By the call of war drums, ritualistic/shamanic/trance-like ambient
passages, and bold musical compositions that embrace eclectic/folk instrumentation,
"Algonkian Mythos" inspires a vibrant mental journey guided further
back in time by ancestral spirits eager to share the tales of how they
lived, and died.
Bindrune came in contact with Nechochwen at last years
Heathen Crusade Festival (RIP) and was deeply moved by the uniqueness
and unending creativity found in the complete devotion the artist possesses
for his music and heritage. Coming in late fall/early winter of 2009,
Bindrune shall unveil Nechochwen's second full-length entitled, "Azimuths
to the Otherworld", a 13 track journey into the mysterious world of
the Adena and Hopewell people that dwelled in the Ohio River Valley
nearly 2 millennia ago. Currently being recorded by Andrew Della Cagna
at Sacred Sound Recording Studio (

), "Azimuths to the Underworld" is the logical continuation of "Algonkian..."
spiritually and musically. Due to the dark and mystical content of this
album, more of an aggressive and uniquely metal influence can be found
dancing among the tracks. The results are truly magical/groundbreaking
as Nechochwen look deep within and further back in time to lead the
spirits back from their home among the stars, to once again traverse
the forgotten trails of the Ohio River Valley. Album artwork, live dates,
release date, and a more in-depth view into the concept of "Azimuths..."

Legendary AT WAR Announces
Release of New Album - 06/13/09
US war metal
legends AT WAR are pleased to announce that their new studio album,
entitled Infidel, will be unleashed upon the masses on August 18th 2009.
Their first new studio album in over 20 years, Infidel proves to be
AT WAR's most brutal and uncompromising work to date featuring nine
tracks of pure war metal the likes of which can only be delivered by
AT WAR.
Formed in 1983 by guitarist Shawn Helsel, bassist and vocalist Paul
Arnold and drummer Dave Stone AT WAR went on to solidify themselves
as one premier metal bands in the American underground. After the reviews
and college radio play of their 1985 demo Eat Lead, AT WAR went on to
release their albums Ordered to Kill (1986) and Retaliatory Strike (1987)
for New Renaissance Records. A follow up to Retaliatory Strike was recorded
in 1994 but ultimately scrapped which prompted AT WAR to go on an indefinite
hiatus only to have the beast awaken from its slumber in 2006 to begin
working the material that would become Infidel. Throughout 2007 and
2008, a series of triumphant US shows and festival appearances in Europe
and Mexico showed AT WAR at the top of their game and unphased by the
passage of time or musical trends.
Earlier this year AT WAR once again entered Pyramid Sound to record
Infidel with Alex Perialas known for not only has work on AT WAR'S seminal
1987 album Retaliatory Strike but for genre defining albums by such
bands as ANTHRAX, TESTAMENT, OVERKILL, NUCLEAR ASSUALT, ETC. Infidel's
stunning cover artwork comes courtesy of legendary illustrator and photographer
Claudio Bergamin.

SIGN OF THE JACKAL - 05/20/09
Continuing to
make their mark be known on the world of metal HEAVY ARTILLERY is pleased
to announce the signing of Italy’s SIGN OF THE JACKAL. Fans of Enforcer,
Cauldron, Ignitor, RAM, Gates of Slumber, Wolf and traditional heavy
metal take note; when SIGN OF THE JACKAL come to fight for rock no prisoners
will be taken!
Born in the frigid winter of 2007 in the Rovereto, Italy four friends
were brought together by a mutual passion for classic heavy metal and
horror movies. These four friends sought to create a band that paid
homage to such 80’s metal legends as Warlock, Black Knight, Taist of
Iron, Black Lace, Judas Priest and Lizzy Borden-that band became SIGN
OF THE JACKAL. The core of the band was formed with Bob on rhythm/lead
guitar, Sergio Mate on drums, Kill on bass and lead vocalist and front
woman Laura on vocals. The bulk of gigs in their first year found SIGN
OF THE JACKAL covering their favorite classic metal songs, opting to
avoid the hits and instead keep things interesting with a set list full
of rare b-sides and obscure album tracks. However, the band desired
to write their own songs and have a fuller sound so in April 2008 rhythm
guitarist Max was added to complete the line-up. With the line up complete,
SIGN OF THE JACKAL quickly found their own sound, meshing together classic
metal and horror influences to create a buzz for themselves amongst
European underground metal fans. By Winter 2008 SIGN OF THE JACKAL’s
debut two track demo, the aptly-named Haunted House Tapes, found its
way across the Atlantic for American underground metal fans and ultimately
to HEAVY ARTILLERY who proudly welcomes them to their roster of exclusive
artists.
Look for Haunted House Tapes appearing as a limited edition vinyl single
on Heavy Artillery during fall 2009, to be followed by the band’s debut
full-length album in 2010.

GENERICHRIST has launched the new Official Sonic Casket of Generichrist

Also confirmed by founder/frontman Tony Anderson is that GENERICHRIST
is currently working on the material for a special limited Asian release
that will be titled "MINDDUMPSTER". GENERICHRIST is currently working
out details with an Underground Asian Metal label and all info will
be posted in the next two weeks. This will be the debut of new drummer
Marc Ciccosanti and guitarist Nick Palm to the line-up.

BATHYM To Reform - 04/09/09
SATHANAS founder
Paul Tucker has announced that he is reforming the blasphemous 90's
old school death thrash metal trio BATHYM! Paul will continue his duties
on guitar and vocals, with original members Eric Watson and Bill Smiley
filling bass and drum positions respectfully.
There are plans in the works to release a full length CD featuring brand
new material.
This project will feature old school death thrash at its finest! More
news will be forthcoming as it develops.

GENERICHRIST
founder/frontman Tony Anderson has announced the addition of drummer
Marc Ciccosanti and guitarist Nick Palmer to the line-up. The band is
currently working on material for the 4 way split with NECROCANNIBALISTIC
VOMITORIUM out of the Ukraine, FASCIST INSECT out of Ohio, and SARLACC
from Pittsburgh. The split will be released late this summer. GENERICHRIST
is also working on songs for the follow up to their 2009 "Fuck Ritual"
